Our story

We build the rails live events actually run on.

Ticket+ started because organizers were juggling four tools - checkout, scanning, payouts and refunds - and none of them spoke to each other. So we built the one that does.

We're building the payments and ticketing infrastructure for live events in East Africa - mobile-money native, designed for spotty networks, and priced for the size of events that actually run here.

From a single-night gig to an agency running events for a dozen clients, it's one system: discover, sell, run the day, and settle the money.

How we built it

One usable layer at a time.

No half-built masterpiece. Each layer had to work in the field before the next one started - this is the order it actually happened.

  1. 1

    Ticketing first

Sell tickets, take mobile-money checkout and scan people in at the door - the thin path, end to end.

  2. 2

    Then wallets

Sales land in a wallet you can watch in real time and withdraw to mobile money on demand.

  3. 3

    Then venues

Halls, calendars and deposit-backed bookings - so the space and the event live in one system.

  4. 4

    Then agencies

Clients, projects, quotes and invoices for teams running events for a dozen organizers at once.

What we believe

A few opinions we build around.

They shape what we ship - and what we refuse to bolt on.

Money should move instantly

Sales land in your wallet the moment a ticket sells, and you withdraw to mobile money on demand. No payout cycles, no waiting.

Mobile-money first

Mobile money is the primary rail, not an afterthought bolted onto a card-first checkout. Built for how money actually moves here.

One backend, every surface

Organizers, venues, agencies and attendees share one system, so an event listed on the web is the same ticket scanned at the door.

Trust isn't an add-on

Refunds, disputes, penalties and a full audit trail are part of the core - not a premium tier you upgrade into.

How we work

Principles you can feel in the product.

The values above only matter if you can point at them in the app. Here's what they look like when they touch keyboard.

Ship the thin path first

A working end-to-end flow beats a half-built masterpiece. We shipped ticketing, then wallets, then venues, then agencies - each one usable before the next started.

Build for spotty networks

Tickets scan offline. Uploads resume. Actions are idempotent so a lost tap doesn't sell the same seat twice. Everything is designed for the field, not a keynote demo.

Own the mistakes

Refunds and disputes are on our side of the fence - structured, timed and audited. When something goes wrong the paperwork is already there.

Real support, not tickets in a queue

You talk to a human who runs events themselves. We show up for door nights and post-mortems - the product improves because we watch it break in the wild.

The team

Small team, opinionated craft.

A tight group of engineers, designers and event people. We believe the best software for live events is built by people who actually run them - so we spend Fridays on the floor, not in Jira.

Engineers, designers, event runnersHiring soon

Secure payment integration

Mobile money and wallet payments, tokenised end to end.

Encrypted in transit

HTTPS everywhere. Sensitive data encrypted at rest.

Disputes and refunds

A proper resolution flow with timelines and an evidence trail.
